Where to stay
I love staying in the Hotel Zone as it’s a quick cab ride to either downtown PV or the Marina where you will find tons of great restaurants, bars, and shops. It’s also close enough that you can take a nice walk downtown and on Sundays they close the middle road which makes for a unique stroll to breakfast.
What to Pack
I usually despise packing for vacation but when I’m traveling to Mexico I can relax a bit more knowing that I mostly only need my bathing suit, a kimono, and books by the pool. Mexico is a time that I can get casual and not be too concerned about always being put together and dressing up.
–burkenstocks and slides
-kimono’s-long and short (they can double as a dress when tied with a robe belt
–big straw hat (love this one too)
–straw bag (filled with magazines and books)
–S’well bottle (stays cold in the heat for 24 hours!)
–Maaji and Triangl bathing suits (they’re reversible and so comfortable)
–One Teaspoon ripped denim shorts (for that relaxed cool vibe)
-sunglasses (my favourite accessory)
Where to Eat:
Lunch: La Leche Fast Truck (best Burritos and the best selection of sauces)
Cevicheria El Guero (a little hard to find by very worth it for THE BEST fish tacos in town for only $1.50 each, plus very cheap Cerveza)
Drinks: Pipi’s for margaritas the size of your head and THE BEST guacamole
